pylon extension

are there any pylon extensions for the 196 that allow you to raise the rope heigth enough to pull kids on kneeboards and skis to get rope out of the water at slow speeds. i dont want the won that is real tall and needs the support cables. maybe just 12-18 inches.

You need a See detail KW Show Equipment Mini Hylon which is a 18 to 24" Pylon extension. Show clubs, including ours, use them on 196's to do around the boat acts. I don't think any of PlanetNautique's site sponsors offer this so the best place to get it from is Lake Elmo Sports.

The Mini Hylon just slips over the pylon and does need to be fastened. You can put it on or take it off in a matter of seconds.

There was also a factory option for a taller pylon, my 99' ski had it. It also works well helping to "tent" the cover and keep rain from pooling. There were some folks on here with one interested in trading for a standard one. Its an easy swap.
