Ram-Lin Bow Support

I have a 1997 Ram-Lin single axle trailer with the crash pad and turnbuckle.
There is not bow support on this trailer, it bounces up and down all the time, even if the turn buckle is tight. In fact if you hit at large bump, it whips the tow eye on the bow.

I have seen several Ram-Lin trailers on here that have what appears to be a bolt on bow support. I have attached a few images.

My question is, where can I get one of these, and is it even possible with a 196?

Find a local Ram-Lin dealer and order it through them. Probably a fairly inexpensive fix compared to the long term damage not having one could have.

I am not sure it is a bolt on piece. I think it is a piece of square tubing that slides in and bolts with a set bolt to make it adjustable up or down. Should be very similar to how the bow crash pad attaches to the trailer.

exactly. it just slides in and has a big bolt. ii think it has 3 positions.

The guide is on square tubing that slides in slightly bigger square tubing with two bolts for locking down. You'll need to add the fixed piece or similar to your frame.

I'm sure the part from ram-lin is reasonable. I've ordered some parts from them before and they were surprisingly fair (at least for the parts they fabricate).

You can't order from them but your dealer doesn't necessarily have to be a ram-lin dealer. The CC dealer I went through did not sell ram-lim trailers but could get the part. Ram-lin just refuses to sell to the public.

You can correspond with ram-lin to get the details (not cost) figured out then tell any dealer what you need and they can order it.

I purchased that very same thing for my 206 trailer. I contacted Ramlin directly, was told to take some measurements and Ramlin then made the part to fit. Ramlin sells it through the dealer, so you will need to call Mark at Son Watersports for that technicality. I was able to have the part shipped directly from Ramlin to my home and then billing just went through Son.
