    Small shop feel

You will never get the level of service you need from a large Wal Mart style dealer.
From reading threads on other boards, CC has pushed out small dealers nation wide. It is great when the owner of a dealership has you on the Xmass card list and keeps you updated on everything. The Twin Cities will miss a CC dealership Like SON and Marine Max is located way out in Rogers. The big problem Marine Max willhave is competing with SON Watersports and whatever brand of boats they will be selling. SON will still have the small town dealer feel and service with a differant brand of boat. Tough to beat.

    Will ski anytime.

I'll be stopping by Mark's to check out the Pro Carbon. That boat has me very curious.

I can tell you right now, Son Watersports will still be seeing my Nautique for any kind of service. When I was out there a few days ago, they just had un-shrink wrapped their new 210 and in the back port corner there was a huge 1 inch square gouge. Looked at that, and said, they will never see my boat again.

They are just not the right place to sell specialty ski and wake board boats.
The never will have the passion that Mark and Dave had for Nautiques.

Heck, I went in there and told them I had a Ram-Lin trailer, and was then asked what that was.
I then told the guy, if you plan on being a Nautique dealer you better figure it out.

It is really to bad Son is no longer a dealer...

Come in and talk with me; Casey; and I will get done what you need. We are in the process of training the entire staff a MarineMax on the product, but currently I can answer questions and get you the answers you need. Ask the guys from this site and correctcraftfan.com who have contacted me directly, I am willing to go the extra mile to take care of you until the rest of our guys are fully trained in.

If you don't feel you can give us a chance, I apologize for the inconvenience, but we have nothing against Son, Mark or Dave, and relish the opportunity to sell and service the best product in the boating world.

On a different not, If anyone would like to join us for our first customer appreciation event on Prior Lake, we will be having a boat in theater scheduled tentatively for the 3rd of September. Come out and meet me, ride on the new product and get to know what we are about.

The boat came directly off the truck with a bit of shipping damage, there is nothing MarineMax can do when the Nautique driver has a strap break and rub the gel. We have a Technician that is a master at fixing gel and taking care of issues just like this.

With no Clear Lake, WI satellite location for Son, I'm going to assume Watercraft Sales (Three Lakes) is my new local dealer? I bought my last boat from them, and they are awesome! I've sniffed around their lot for literally 20 years before actually getting a boat from them, and in all that time, they never treated me like a tire-kicker. Their customer service reminds me of White Lake.

                    Casey,

Prior Lake is a long way from Rogers. Do you have plans for a remote location in that area?

                      Small Dealers

                      Hello there,

My name is Ryan from Watercraft Sales in Three Lakes, Wi. There isn't a smaller town that has a Nautique dealer than Three Lakes. We are the oldest dealer in the world, contrary to Popular belief, but thats a story for another day. We do however pride ourselves on taking care of the customer with Sales and Service after the Sale. I did also work for Marine Max in Pompano Beach, Fl and am very familiar with how they do business.. I am sure they will offer more exposure to the brand, but it is difficult seeing Friends like Sons have to move on. Hopefully there is enough pie for all of us to survive. If you need any at all, or would like Talk Shop, you can call or email me anytime!

                      Regards,

                      Ryan Lamon

                        Son Watersports

Greetings to all Nautique enthusiasts and customers of Son Watersports. I wanted to take a moment to chime in on this important forum that speaks to changes at our dealership. Yes, it is true that our dealership will no longer be carrying Nautiques by Correct Craft. I started the dealership in 1998 with a specific goal in mind -- to sell and service tournament styled ski and wakeboard boats. That will not change despite Correct Craft's choice to move the Nautique banner. Make no mistake, we made an aggressive attempt to keep the line. Correct Craft seeks change.

In 12 years as a dealer, we have literally sold hundreds of ski boats, most of them Nautiques. With that tenure we have gained a ton of experience and are very familiar with the history of the line. We've serviced and sold boats in the Correct Craft line up like the Separators, Rivieras, Fish Nautiques, Mustangs, Ski Tiques, San Juans, Nautique Excels, Barefoot Nautiques, Sport Nautiques, Super Airs, 226s, 230s, and the list goes on. We service Mastercraft, Malibu, Supra, Moomba, Gekko, American Skier -- you name it. We service these boats with one goal in mind -- to earn your long term business. Fortunately, I, or a member of our staff, know all of our customers by name including most of you on this forum (Brennan, Scott, Matt, Ken, Mark, Corey, Don, and others). All of you are important to our dealership.

Son Watersports is a family owned business. Our future in the tournament ski and wakeboard boat business is bright and in just a few weeks we'll be announcing the official launch of a new line available at Son (take a guess, right?). I want to be clear that Son Watersports will continue to service, warrant, and trade in all tournament inboards. We are a PCM dealer and have a talented staff. What's more, Correct Craft's National Sales Manager and Warranty Manager have assured me personally that our parts account will remain open. We stand behind all Nautiques and other tournament ski boats in the field.

Our business plan is focused and is entirely rooted in you, fans of ski and wakeboard boats. We welcome your visit to our website, your e-mails, and your support in transition. We will remain small and our communication about this transition will always be positive (despite what you can image to be very high emotions). We are not a big box store. We speak the "ski boat language" and will continue to earn your business for many years to come. We're here to stay! Contact me or our sales manager Dave anytime.

                        Kindly,
