may buy a SKI NAUTIQUE SV211

I am thinking about buying a 2005 used SKI NAUTIQUE SV211 with 160 hours on it and 330 hp for about 36,000. I want to be able to wakeboard, wake surf, and water ski, but not anyone one of these at an extremely high level. Please let me know what you think of this buy and whether or not I could get something better.

What are the options, and is it a Team Edition? I think depending on where you are located you could do better. At two years newer, my 2007 is a Team Edition with 375 hp ZR-6 engine with approx. 150 hours, color matching DHM dual axle trailer and I would think it should go for somewhere around $40k (I hope) -- 'slightly' higher price but I'd say there might be more for your dollar overall, just my opinion -- maybe my opinion of the value is not accurate, though.

Options are key, but I think it sounds fair. I agree, the 07's should be going for somewhere in the 40's, so an 05 with low hours I can see 36. I hope mine is going to lose too much more value....

If it had a ZR6, I would say that is a good price. Otherwise, I feel that's a little steep.

Remember that the 05s had the crappy ballast pumps etc. You might want to switch them to jabsco ballast puppies.

I have an ’05 211 Team Edition that I bought in March of ’09 for $36 with 75 hrs on it. The hour total you list is still low and I thought I got a really good deal on the boat. The pricing doesn’t seem out of line but may have room for a little play. The note about the ballast issues is legit as I have had mine worked on and still get mystery fills. Otherwise it’s been great.
