PN Team - headed out this weekend to purchase an '06 211 and need some help on specific things to look for as I take it out on the test drive and give it a good once-over. It is a TE with the ZR6 motor sitting on an Illusion trailer. My last boat was a Malibu quite a few years back and this will be my first V-drive. Appreciate any/all the help you can give, particularly areas of concern for that year model and engine. Thx!

For the 06 there are only a few minor issues that I am aware of and maybe one not so minor. The wiring to the dash and the ballast pumps might be a little light, some guys were popping fuses, sometimes the perfect pass beeps from the low voltage. Both can be solved by upgrading a few wires. The not so minor issue is the thickness of the deck but it's easy to detect if there are cracks around the tower feet. If you see cracking then it needs to be reinforced under the tower feet, it's not that big of a deal but it can be expensive if it's not covered under warranty.
