LINC - Font Size - low fuel alarm

Is there a way to change the font size on the LINC systems

I think the font size should be larger for some of the letters such as "Hours" etc

Is there a way to setup a "Low Fuel Alarm" ... our 211 had this which we found quite useful

There also seems to be some User Setting that cannot be changed - is there a "Dealer Only" access level

I don't think there is a way to modify it. Might try tracking down the manufacturer. I'd like to see larger fonts for the time and water temp.

I agree with both of these things. I had an experience almost running out of gas while using the GPS map feature in full-screen mode. It does not warn when you're low on gas, and in full-screen mode, there's no gas gauge visible. It was stupid on my part for not paying closer attention to my fuel level, but I agree that a low fuel alarm would help. I have already suggested that to CC.

I agree LINC system could use some additional features. I don't want to take the reader on the boat.

Also, I would like to have the user profiles set the ballast tanks.

i can't remember the company that makes the linc, but they also make one for supra. you have to have a reader to get fault codes off the linc? why not just add an analog fuel gauge to the dash.

This is a bit of wisdom from my father. Keep the top half of the tank full, and you never have to worry about the bottom half.

The linc system is programable via the usb port in the dash. I reprogramed mine from Metric to Standard.
I do have to agree the fonts take some guess-work to read. I like how you can go from a graph gage to a precentage gage.
So far I have almost run out of gas in the course once as the boat made the turn it started to die. Also at the dock started it up and it was almost dry. A warning light would be a good idea. I still would like to have a air temp gage like my 196 had. For me a touch screen would be much easier to use. I have one in my car and its alot nicer when selecting what you want along with some buttons is fine.
