Ok ill settle it. The 1236 is the better prop because that is what I run! Nah, they are both weight pulling machines and you will be blown away at the difference once you put it on and sack her out. Bimmer, how much weight do you run? I have run up to about 4000lbs with the 1236 and it could do more, but the wake is so beastly at that point that I dont need any more.
I wont be in my boat until at least labor day to tell for sure what the 1236 RPM's are at 30-35, but I know it is very similar to the above stated 1464 numbers.
good info fellas and im with you, i want the torque and dont think i care about the top end. i paid attention this past weekend and i never went above 30 i dont think with my stock team prop, even when just cruising ... thus, bring on the 1464
1234 will not fit a 2003 SAN. The diamater is too big.
Best deal I have found is Delta Propellars with the PN discount.
The 1464 and 1236 are the exact same diamater and pitch, just have different cupping. The 1464 is .105 cup; the 1236 is .150 cup. I understand the diamater and pitch measurements and how they affect performance, but I don't really understand the cupping. I'm guessing more cup = less "slipping" which would mean that the 1236 would be a slight bit slower out of the hole than the 1464, but may have a slightly higher top end speed?
