1999 SAN with Gen 1 Tower

    Hello-
Tried doing a few searches to get some info, but whats the background on the Gen 1 towers found on 1999 Super Nautiques?

Looks like it fold back, with the front legs high in the air? Will it fit under a 7' garage door?

Are there quick release knobs you can add to speed up the process, or facilitate a complete removal?

Also, if replaced with a Gen 2 tower, do the holes match up?

    Thanks!

My friend folds his forward. I believe he has a 7ft door, but will confirm.
Gen2 will not even remotely fit where a Gen1 was or even on it. Totally different.

I originally had the FCT gen.1 on my '99 Pro Air (slightly different version than on the SAN, SAN front "foot (mounted on the deck) is higher), and I had to remove my tower to fit under my garage door. I had removed the rear bolts and folded forward as I remember, and ended up removing the tower completely to get it to fit. My trailer is a single axle, so it may sit higher due to the 15" wheel and tire combo, than a tandem axle w/14" wheel and tires.
