Looking at my carpet, it's not a pure rectangle, so how exact of a measurment would you need?

The surface of the walk-thru will hold a 350 # fat sac in place, for instance...that sac is about 38" long.

Thanks HS, that is what i am looking for.....I have an 08 211, but work overseas so i cant get to mine to measure for balasts

what is the width of the area?

Skitower, Just rough measurements to place a ballast in that area of it to test

mine's roughly 18" wide x 40" deep (and can still get to the latch) x 6" high

Yeah, in addition to factory ballast, for surfing I place a 350# right in the walk-thru and a 370# fat sac under the observer bench and another 350# on the port side bow seat (with the center bow filler cushion in to keep it from rolling off the seat). This set up works with a pretty light crew of driver and 1 or 2 passengers plus rider. Those 350s came from a seller here on PN...they have a 17" diameter and are 38" long.
