I like that 206 they've got. Nice, simple colors always look good to me. The only thing that doesn't look quite right is that the I is missing in the LIMITED lettering on the side. You have to click on the picture to blow it up to see it though.

Heh, I know that boat! I read a history of that boat during our trip to NH. That is one nice boat!

I am thankful to see the shots but here is a photo tip. See if your camera has a "slow" flash mode. Your flash will go off like normal but the shutter speed slows down to let in more ambient light. Also use a faster speed. My camera can be shot at 100, 200, 400, 800 You loose a little resolution in the digital file but it is more sensative in low light situations. A 400 setting would reproduce on the web fine.

I think there were 7 originally on Lake Winnipesaukee for tour rides. THis one is a 1930 model that sank and was later raised and restored. You can see her every year at the boat show in Weirs Beach, NH first week of August.

One other thing you can do with previously taken photos, is lighten them up in a photo editing program like photoshop. Usually with dark digital photos there is plenty of detail in the shot, just the light level and contrast ratio is too low. There usually is a little washout by increasing contrast ratio and increasing the light level, but if you are conservative the picture can still look relativly good.

Which CC dealership(s) are at the NY show? I know Adirondack Marine buys a lot of 196s up front, and has very little trouble selling them, wouldn't surprise me if they brought one down. Fantastic dealer! In fact they just won CCs highest customer satisfaction rating.

One of the best things to do is correct your levels in photoshop before anything else. The Autolevels feature does a good job of this. Essentially you are cutting "noise" out of the picture by reorganizing the color levels to suit what is coming through strongest on the photo. You'd be amazed at what this little step can do to your pictures.
