Boom question

New to the forum, have a quick question. In the process of trading an 02 Malibu for an 08 SN 196 and need a boom for the new boat. Had a custom Bemman from Scarpa, custom/contoured and double drilled. Will this type boom fit the SN pylon down low or do I have to get a straight one.

Single contour boom will fit nicely. I have a BFI for my 09 and the club has one for our 05 196's. Even though they come with a gunnel protector, wrap a towel or old wetsuit around the boom where it rests on the gunnel. Upholstery comes up even with the gunnel and will wear if you don't protect it.

Thanks, it's on ebay, bottom boat on correct craft page, Rich needs to get that off of there huh??? Red & retro! Stereo install will be my winter project.
