196 towers

i you had to put on tower on closed bow 196. what would you choose. will the sn fct-3 fit. what does it cost and where can i buy. Any better options. with 3 kids that love to wb, i ski, just way to much stuff in the boat. gotta get in all on the racks.

how about a Fly High or Sklon with racks. As much as I like towers I think you'll be sorry putting one on a 196 when resale time comes around. I know those poles can be a pita and I'm in a similar situation with a 98SN. I had no issues adding a tower to a 2001 hull but I just can't bring my self to do it on the 196.

There is an 09' 196 on our lake with a new deminsion mini tower.....it looks ok.

+1, used a Flight Pipe on my SN2001 it worked great. You do have to be a gymnist to get over the windshield to hook up the support strap but it kept me young.

Why not look at the Titan towers the look of them would fit your boat perfect. I think a series 1 or 2 would be a great tower for your boat, and it is not universal it is a custom tower made for your boat.

I spent the money on a New Dimensions Tower and I couldn't be happier with it.

I vote for the Samson EDGE tower, it is what I put on my boat and couldn't be happier. I really wanted something a bit different than what is normally stock/new dimensions, and Samson looked great. Great quality, they run all the wiring etc for you if you want them to. Custom biminis, racks, etc. Let me know if you would like pictures of it on my 2002 SAN
