haha! Naa, I dont need 2 boats. My 07 Super Air is for sale. I didn't want my first post to be about my boat for sale. I know people can get upset on forums when someone jumps on trying to sell stuff.

        Thanks guys

        Jeff

You're looking for an '08-'10 I'm assuming? If someone here can't be of help, check out ski-it-again.com. Welcome to PN!

I'm actually looking for an older boat. something in the 98-02 range. direct drive. maybe sport or air. not really sure yet. only getting an older boat cause money is a bit tighter than it was in 07 when i get my current boat.

I'll check out that site. thanks!

If you can find a 98-99 Sport with the 2nd Gen tower on it, go that route over the Air. I say that only because plumbing in a real ballast system is a lot easier when you don't have to pull the hard tanks out first. If you don't need the rear storage compartment, go with a 97 or earlier Sport, which will then have the same hull as the pre 2007 SANs. The 98-99 hulls are only close, but not exactly the same, as the pre 2007 SANs.

BTW, I have a 99 Air and love it.

I agree with going the Sport instead of the Air models. I had a much easier time putting in the exact ballast system I wanted in my super sport over people who tried the same in their super air

I really appreciate your tips guys!!

a couple questions I have,, what is SANs? and would the sport be a better "crossover" than the air? I'm looking for a nice clean wake, but it doesnt need to be huge. I wakeskate, but lately I've been getting into slalom skiing too. My Super Air is great for skating, but sucks for Skiing..

                  Thanks again!
                  Jeff
