That would be my boat. It was stolen last week from the storage yard and was completely gutted! I'm sure it's a total but I'm meeting with the insurance co. today. They took everything... motor, tanks, tower, prop, steering, electronics, mechanics... you name it they took it.

Sorry to hear that. You aren't kidding that the got everything. Has to be someone with some knowledge about boats and that had a ton of time to do this. That is a couple of day project. I wonder why someone would steal the seats and everything?

Man that is awful. Last summer a guy had his factory tower removed from his boat with the hull mounts. Why anyone would need a Toyota tower is what humors me. The guy traded in the boat and got a Bu.

Now the real question is:

If you have a SANTE that needs parts would you buy the from fred down the street that just happened to find some parts, or would you go to your dealer?

I can't imagine there is a big market for the windshield of a SANTE, or the seat cushions, or the throttle, or most of the other parts taken except the engine.

They did do a number on the hull by cutting out the section over the v-drive unit. i guess they did that to make it easier. God knows I have thought about it in mine when doing service.

what year was that boat?There is some junk on e-bay for a 2004 .Im not sure if its correct craft stuff.but there is a v-drive trans,distributer,manifolds and a gas tank.Seller has a low feedback rating.I sent him a messege to get the serial number off of the tranny

I would certinaly look into and be watching for sales of used pieces to find the people responsible. Worth a shot!

I could see someone taking the engine, stereo, helm, and some of the things you could put in some other boat... but all the interior? coaming pads?

I wonder if the people that stold this stuff know that a Nautique is usually custom ordered and therefore, the color pattern should be easy to identify. What was the color combination in the interior? Also, I don't know up to what level CC keeps records of all of the serial numbers for the parts that go into each boat. I know they keep the serial numbers for the engine, tranny and other big parts but how about the radio and some other parts that have a serial number?

At least we know what to look for should these parts come on sale, pretty much look for everything that you need to assemble a boat.

Tyler, that's a good picture. I guess if you cannot go to the pool then you have to bring the pool to you, or jacuzzi for that matter.
