    Promo Boat Warranty Question

I'm considering the purchase of a never titled 2010 Nautique 200. To save some $$$, I'm looking at one boat that's been used as a tournament promo boat (100 hours) and another that's been used in a ski school (400 hours). From reading the owners manual the warranty would not apply to either boat.

"Exceptions: This “Nautique Limited Warranty” shall not apply to…
    • Any Nautique boat which has been used at any time for
commercial or racing purposes, as a demonstrator or in a
PROMOTIONAL PROGRAM (emphasis added), ski school or ski show."

Has any promo boat purchaser ever had any issues with a warranty claim being denied?

    Thanks

They are not talking about CC's promo program. Boats that are part of the national promo team are exempt from that exemption. You only have to send in the promo team warranty transfer document and the warranty will transfer over. You have to do it within 10 days of purchase I think, though. The PCM warranty has to be transferred for a $100 fee I believe.
