    Surf Ballasts Recommendations 210

Getting ready to get a 2011 210. Can I surf with factory ballasts (I consider me and my crew beginner to intermediate) or do I need (or eventually want) extra sacs? If so any recommendations? We're all regular footed. Thanks.

You can surf without any additional ballast. We usually fill the belly and port tank for riding regular. Then we sit all of our passengers on the port side and usually put one guy on the back sitting on the sun pad. If you don't have a lot of extra people it may help to fill one bag and put it on the floor next to the engine. I'm sure there are plenty of people who use more weight than us, but this wake is much bigger and better for surfing than the old 210 hull was with twice the weight, which is what we used to surf.
