Looks like the folks at CC are on it now so hopefully we can get this thing taken care of before next summer. Any ideas/experience/input on this will certainly be appreciated.
I sent you a PM. My first Nautique was a lemon and CC stepped up and took care of me. Terry McNew was President at that point in time. What he did for me made me a Nautique owner for life after a not so great introduction with the lemon.

Thanks all! I've been in touch with Larry and got a call from Ron Nace. As Slayer mentioned above, CC has moved our dealership to MarineMax, who should have a more capable electrical person on staff. Ron called their head of service and filled him in on our boat and Ron assured me that they'd go over it in detail and get everything fixed before we pick it up next spring. Hopefully this will put an end to this saga and we can enjoy an uneventful year in 2011, and beyond.

make them get it fixed within a couple weeks and prove it, then let them hold on to it til spring if you store it there.

Sweet dude. This will be a good test of the new dealer's service and staff.

            just in case...

We've had similar problems with the electrical on our 08 236 when we bought it brand new last spring. In our case it turned out to be a screw through a wire harness somewhere. After multiple experiences with one dealer that I would describe as horrific, we went to another dealer and got A+++ service. They found the screw, fixed-up everything and the boat has been the dream it was supposed to be from the start.

Get the right people to look at it and NEVER give business again to someone who doesn't deserve it. Unfortunately we usually have to find out the hard way who deserves business!!!

Thought I should provide an update on this. After 4 years of continuous problems, at least 7 warranty claims, 3 botched jobs by Marinemax, having to be towed in from the middle of the lake twice, several instances of our engine quitting suddenly (once with someone surfing who fortunately was able to run up on to the back of the boat), considerable out-of-pocket expense on repairs and, far more costly, a slip & insurance for a boat that only worked 22 out of 39 attempts (and I'm counting in that 22 the time we didn't go out because our dealer recommended that we not do so with a non-function blower (lesson learned) and 18 times that we had various keypad problems including lockups and inability to fill the ballast tanks), our new boat seems to be working.

We were out of the country July and part of Aug which cut our summer time on the lake short this year, but aside from engine problems launch weekend (that turned out to be Marinemax not re-connecting the knock sensors (and yes, I felt stupid for not figuring it out myself)) and one keypad lockup, she performed well all summer. I just wish she'd run like this the first two years when my son was able to come home for the summer.

Thanks to all on here who provided help and support through all of this. We wouldn't have made it without ya'll.

I Just recently purchased a 2008 SV 211 team edition, and I Love It!!! Amazing boat!
But we also have blower issues. it keeps tripping the circuit breaker. It hasn't stopped us from using the boat, but i would like to sort is out. where would you reckon i should start looking?

The problems with my rig is definitely as a result of the previous owner. it was used in salt water and not looked after(mechanically and electrically at least) very well.
She's running sweet but needs a good clean!
So far i have replaced the docking lights and I'm busy with the Zero Off GPS module but other than that she's a beaut of a boat!
                Heres a Pic.

Nice looking boat, congrats! You might get better luck solving your blower problem by starting a new thread in the Maintenance and Technical Discussion or trying a site search. It's probably a wiring issue or maybe there is a lot of corrosion in the blower motor and it can't spin freely enough. When the blower is working does it sound like it is spinning smooth or is it squeaky and rough? If the latter you can try spraying some WD40 in there to free it up but more than likely it will need to be replaced shortly. Good luck!

How 'bout starting by replacing the blower- it's like a $30 part. The motors seize up over time, especially in salt water.

Xlair is on to something. When those motors get corroded, they draw more power - thus possibly tripping the breaker...

I 100% agree that replacing it will probably solve the problem but being that he is in South Africa it might not be an easily sourced $30 part and cheap shipping like it is in the states. I tried the WD40 trick in my old sport once over 2 years ago and it stopped the squeaking and continued to work all last season. But it was never bad enough to trip the breaker, just noisy so this trick may not work for him.
