Single handed getting boat on trailer ?

Sadly, it's time to pull our boat out. Typically when I do it by myself I get the boat ready in it's slip, back the trailer in, go get the boat and pull it on to the trailer. Problem is that this requires me to take up the ramp for 15 - 20 minutes. Not a problem at 7am when nobody else is around. With morning temps in the 30's I'm kinda thinking I'd prefer to do it mid afternoon when it'll be 50 something. There's no good place to tie the boat at the ramp so I can't very easily pull the boat over first and then get my trailer.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

One day I was coming back to the ramp solo. Was gonna tie up and walk up and get the truck. I was really not wanting to tie up to a dock as busy as it was. There was a fisherman that had just put in and was about to drive his truck up and park. I gave him my key and he backed the truck in for me instead of having to walk all the way back down. I held his boat during the process. I also tried to slip him a 5 spot, he wouldn't take it. All worked out well

Unless you can find a buddy to help, I have no idea. I do close to the same thing with minimal help from my wife, but what she does helps. I do all the trailer backing and in close boat driving, but she pulls the truck up off the ramp both loading and unloading. And when it's relevant she'll drive the boat to the ramp, but I have to 'catch' her at the dock and load the boat. It is a dream when one of my buddies goes that can drive the boat and/or back the trailer.

If you don't have anyone you can bug for ten minutes and you don't have to get wet, I'd personally take the 30 degrees with no traffic. If you let us know where you are, maybe someone is close to help.
