A couple of days ago, our very own Bill Yeargin of CC contacted me and invited my wife, daughter and myself to have a private lunch with him and a factory tour. It's like Christmas in November.......the 12th that is. I'm like a kid in a candy store. I'll post pics and a write up as soon as we get home.

Lessee Nigel, if I win the lottery, YES! If Bill feels the need to donate, or needs me to show one off at my lake for an indefinite amount of time, ABSOLUTELY! Maybe a tax write off!! Yeah, that's the ticket. >;-)

No sir! If he does play, I'll be more than honored to have him sign MY Ludwig Classic Mapple kit. Eddie Money signed a bunch of stuff for me when I played with him years ago. Does that count?!

I tried to learn how to play drums. I only found out how uncoordinated I really was.

Took a plant tour after Disney on 10-19-2010. I Forgot to confirm my plant tour and was 4 hours early to the scheduled time they allotted for tours, but they were more than gracious enough to allow me to go. Had my wife, 7 year old and 4 year old with me. I was the only one to take the tour and I have confirmed my belief in this brands dedication to not just boats, but to people as well.

Happened to come by at a time when they had an optional prayer lunch that was hosted by Bill and 93 year old Ralph Meloon. As I was touring the plant Ralph came out of his way to meet me and spend some time discussing Correct Craft history and current day progression of both the boats and the business.

After the tour was over I found out that Mr. Meloon went out to the lobby and played with my kids while I finished the rest of the tour. From the little bit of time I was able to spend with him and his crew, I will have to say that I was very impressed.

Dave Hendricks aka "The Godfather" from ccfan.com was the one who gave me my tour and he is another great guy. Very knowledgeable and a great tour guide as well. Would do another tour next week if I could. BTW the new 200V is an incredible boat.

Yes sir Daniel! I have 3 kits...........one that's all Bubinga Birch...........one that's birch/poplar/birch..........and one that's all select mapple. The short story is they have different tones, projection's, decay and so on. Some sound better live, some better in the studio. Don't feel bad, I can't play either. >;-)
