waterski mag 2005 video's are up, the SV211 is tested!

    LINK

One thing that doesn't make sense is that every other CC with the 330hp PCM spun about 5000-5200 rpm, but the SV211 only mustered up 4500 rpm. maybe they forgot to dump the ballasts before they tested for speed?

what are you sv211 owners seeing in peak rpm and speed (gps)?

    thanks henry

    Seems like I turn 4700- 4800 RPM at 44 - 45 mph on my '04 SV-211 TE w/ the Excalibur....

why would there be?. It just seems to me that these PCM motors rate there HP at peak rpm, so "proping up like this , just robs performance. All the other boats were spinning up over 5000 rpm.

any other 211 owners have numbers?

        thanks

No Governor mike but the prop pitch and diameter could reduce the max RPM

especially if you factor in the additional 800 lbs or so over the weight of the SANTE....

I would expect that CC would prop the boat to maximize the "usable power" Fatboy, clubmyke , what are you guys turning?

              thanks

I saw this post but did not respond cause I can't remember the RPM's. I do know that top speed on my boat is 46 MPH. My boat was the limited and comes with a different pitch prop than the team. Sorry that I am no more help than that.
