i wish i had a rack like that to hang my boat a few times a year to buff the bottom and get any built up gunk off it. think i could build one out of wood?

Better make it strong with a big crossbar. Look how much that steel tube is bending on the rear.

I would not go under a boat, not on a trailer, unless there are two independent means of supporting it, that have proven themselves they can support the boat independently.

Example, have the boat hung, like the picture shows, and have wood block "cribs" built under the two back corners, and the keel, in front of the fins, before the bow starts to curve up.

The crossbeam supporting the aft end of the boat does not look good to me. I can see a little bend in the horizontal bar. It already had noticeable elastic deformation, meaning if you remove the load, it will spring back. As you increase the load on a piece on steel, it goes through the elastic (springy) deformation, and then it gets to plastic deformation. (it takes a set, does not spring back) At that point, very little additional load load will keep bending the steel, more and more, until the load is removed, or relieved.
Long story short, I would not go under that boat unless something else was there to hold it.

I swam under our boat lift, 10 seconds before the cable snapped, sending the boat hard to the water! One of the scarier moments in my life. Watching one come down cements the personal need for more than 1 form of support. In my defense, I was a complete moron swimming under that boat!

We're only under the side of them long enough to slide the cradles under the keel. Those A frames are not bent with the weight. They are like that and have been for years. Those are going to a new owner and new, taller A Frames are coming. We just couldn't get the new ones on the trailer we had so we had to use these.

My neighbors new ride. Great looking boat and well thought out, and a pretty decent boarding wake out of the box!!

Do they offer it without that weird looking scale graphic, or is just vinyl that can be removed? Nice boat!!
