Trailer specs

I just bought a 2006 tandem axle Dorsey Nautique trailer for my Super Sport Nautique. Can anyone tell me the specs for these trailers so I can get it registered. I need to know the empty weight and the carrying capacity.

There should be a sticker on the trailer near the tongue that has all this information including the serial number, etc.

There is no sticker with the info. The only thing I could find is I guess the VIN # welded into the frame in the rear.

In Oregon. when you buy an out of state trailer, you have to physically take it to DMV and they have to inspect it, before a license is issued.

Rather than trying to get advise from everybody on this board who probably do not live in your state, you need to contact your DMV pf the state where you live.
One of the requirements of your state might involve actually weighing the trailer, or the trailer and boat.

I will check tonight when I get home. I have an 01 model for a SAN that is the same trailer.

Just register it in Maine. No DMV required.

You might try Buxton Marine. I think Dorsey is out of business, but these guys may be able to help you.

I know a lot of people in Texas that will register their nice ski boat trailers with breaks, lights, etc. as homemade.

For the record, my Dorsey single axle is registered correctly.
