I'm think about buying a 07 sv211 TE 330 hp. 100 hours looks perfect thoughit has been in salt you would never know by looking at it. Is 33k a good buy for this boat? It does not include trailer. Does anyone know where I could find a used galvanized trailer for this boat? Thanks!

I don't know much about the boat, but I do know about salt. One year in salt water is about 10-12 years in fresh! Your Exhust manifolds will need to be replaced withing 5 years of ingesting salt. If the the Engine has a closed cooling system it should be fine if not it will be trash within 5 years of being in salt water. I would think CC uses copper wire, not tin in there boats, which means you may have electrical issues as the corrision will "wick" up the copper wire and need to be replaced or spliced. An examination of the fuel gauage wires comming off the fuel tank should be a good indicator. The copper will be black if its infected. -

For freshwater that'd be a great deal IMO. I'd think it would still be a good deal for salt.Comment

without the trailer it sounds like an "ok" deal but not a great one, to me anyway ... if at a dealer would try to get a trailer included, or offer less for having to come up with one. good luck2003 SANTE - "OG 210"Comment
