they were behind but they got caught back up. They put some extra hours in. Still, the numbers wouldn't be effected nearly as bad as you might think for the hurricanes slowing them down.

From what I can tell, they made more in '04 than '03.

Either way the difference is like 12 boats.

I think the % change is the total number of boats sold by all builders, and not % change in one builder alone.

My guess is that the chart shows sales by date (quarter, ytd). This probably has no correlation to model year, it is probably date sold at retail, which could be any model year. (leftover 03's, 04's, and probably some '05's. sold in the 3rd quarter)

I am really not sure how the market share works, but CC is at full production and once the new factory is built CC should be able to up the production of boats built each year.

A while back, someone posted production numbers from CC, MC and another boat manufacturer. CC had about 1/2 the number of boats compared to their next competitor. If I recall correctly, the reason was due to the limited space CC has to produce more boats.

I wonder if the new facility will change that or if they will use the added space to start building trailers, a new line of boats, etc. Maybe some of the space will be used to increase production on their larger and newer line of boats, like the 211 and 226.
