Turning of the sun
Is it just me, or is the turning of the sun becoming sort of a holiday for PN members? The days start getting longer tomorrow - and one day closer to open water here in WI!

Not yet! I just bought a new house, so a brand new boat is likely out of the question this year. I've been eyeing up Bubba's '09 196, but I'm not getting too serious into looking until March. J2 Jim has the sweetest '09 196 I've ever seen, but I doubt he'll let me pry it from his grasp! Merry Christmas to you and the kids!'08 196LE (previous)

The eve of the "turning" was my and Mrs. AirTool's 19th wedding anniversary so my celebration was of a different perspective. I wasn't about to PN and risk not making it to 20.

That's an interesting site regarding the amount of sunlight over the course of the year. I didn't realize that Houston would be so much different than the Detroit area. Houston has 1 hour and 12 minutes more daylight than Detroit in the middle of the winter, but Detroit has longer days in the middle of summer, by 1 hour and 17 minutes!
