I think CC has become experts at hype and hyping their latest thing. Example I found myself at the boat show last Saturday sitting inside the new sport 200 thinking - man I'm going to trade my boat and pull the trigger on this thing today! Absolutely Crazy! My wife would have killed me!

That discussion in my head was totally based on the hype that this boat has been given, I've not heard from any first hand experience behind this boat, not been on the water in this boat, but CC says this is the only boat in the WORLD that does slalom and wakeboarding perfectly so I was ready to drop 70K on this thing all based on how it's been marketed.

Good thing I had gone to the CC booth first and was able to spend the next hour talking myself out of doing something crazy while I walked around looking at the rest of the boat show.

Maybe this boat is that holy grail of boats that does all things well, but I doubt it. I'll have to see it firsthand to believe it.

I was originally going to post that they were returning to their roots and starting to build wooden cruisers again. Actually, that wouldn't be such a bad idea. I love those old cruisers!

MC has had a diesel for a couple of years, so I guess it's not really an earth shattering announcement afterall? I think that motor is roughly a $12k option too - but not positive on that. I do know it's stupid expensive.
