FCT5 problem
We have to fold our fct5 down to put boat away. Just received bimini at xmas and top speakers.
With the brackets which bolt to tower required to hold the front of the bimini, the tower will not even fold down to the higher of the two fold down low settings.
We have to take them off each time we put away.
If you take one bolt out and losen other enoguh you can techically swing them around to the rear and retighten however this started wearing all the paint off so we decided just to take them right off.
Anyone else have this issue. When you look at it they could have designed the bracket and bolts( of some description) to swing around as I identified which wuld save taken it off, eventually wearing out the thread. On the left side the tower the bracket hits the upolistry and on the right it comes down on the black arm rest behind the cup holder. This is on a 210. Also seen same issue on new 216v.
I am dissapointed that even though the tower can fold super low, they have not finished the job and make the brackets fold to either of the 2 fold down settings.
Looking at the tower they could have made this work with brackets either going inside of tower or a few other possibilites.
Will try to get photos up for those not fimilar with tower.
