    Jatoba Wood Swim Platform

    Does anyone know anything about this wood, any experience with it. I have a composite platform and I'm looking swapt it for wood and I found this on the CorrectCraft Fan Website:

      I personaly do not have the platform but was planning to buy one for our '08 210. I can't remember who, but someone from this boat sent me some pictures of this platform.

          I bought one from them last year. It lasted about 5 outings and the back half of the platform started to separate. The factory brackets they suggest you use don't support the entire platform. I've custom made some brackets that span the full depth of the platform but haven't put them on yet so I'm not sure if it's going to work. Its a good looking platform just didn't hold up for me. Good luck

              What color is your composite? I might have access to a teak one.

                  I have a buddy that has am 04 teak platform that is the same shape that he has not installed on his boat, I am just not sure I can talk him out of it. Let me see what I can do.
