Cipa Extreme upgrade?

My S/N 200 has the smaller mirror and I'm thinking about upgrading to the bigger 3 panel Cipa Extreme mirror. I like the mount that attaches the mirror to the windshield.

My question:
Can I keep and use the CC mount the Extreme mirror?

I've had both the regular Cipa and the Extreme, and as primarily a slalom skier, I prefer the regular Cipa vs. the extreme. I can see better and just shift my head to view greater width. Apologies that I'm not answering your base question on the mount, but I thought you should have at least one opinion.

Have you not considered the (SN200) optional extended mirror. White Lake Marine are selling them in their web store.

Yeah, but I can get the larger cippa for almost half of the $$$ CC extended. It's not really a big issue as I almost always have a third person in the boat.

If it's the long, U shaped bracket, I don't think it is compatible with the CIPA extreme. From my experience, the bracket that comes with the CIPA extreme is fine and you get little, if any movement in the mirror once you get it set. I really like the mirror.

It appears that I can toss the "u" bracket that comes with the Cipa, and directly connect it to the CC mount.
