I made one for my old MC. I just measured the opening and had a local upholsterer make me that size rectangular piece with seams out of sunbrella. I had them put snaps on it and I installed the corresponding snaps on the boat. Cost about $70 several years ago.
I made one out of Plexi and it works great! First I did it with hinges and i didnt like it there all the time so I ended up doing it so it just slides into the track I made for it and I keep it in the ski locker.
Thanks riderite, that's what I was envisioning. What did you make the tracks of? Also, did you have to bend it any to make it conform to the boat surface back towards the window?

I am thinking about making a dam from a piece of white PVC plastic. I would be interested to see what you used to make your tracks. All that air gets pretty chilly when it's cool and I want to keep my driver happy!
