    Surf Ballast Question

Has anyone used the Fligh High W721 "Arrowhead" center locker sac? What amount of ballast weight will it hold?

I am thinking about using it (piggy backed to the belly tank) in place of the 370# under the side bench and the 350# on the port bow seat. I'll keep the 350# on the port stern walk-thru, but thought this arrowhead sac tied to the belly might be an easier set up (push the button) and eliminate the need for setting up those 2 sacs.

Alternatively, if anyone has been using the other bow sac (integrated W711), has it helped for the surf wake?

    Thanks!

P.S. This change will move weight away from the gunnel I realize, so I wondered if people had any ideas about achieving a large surf weight with less of a list to the suf side. TIA.

I have a 211 and don't think I would do that. We often do not fill the belly tank. On my 211 I have found the lean is the most important part. We often have to move someone over 6 inches to make sure the boat is leaning. On the dark side we took out the hard tank and use a 1100 pound bag. We then will put 200-400 pounds on the seat in the bow. The closer to the edge the better. When we switch sides we roll it to the other side. That side has a 750 pound bag and 400 in the walk thru. The wake is best when the boat leans.
