    Portland Nautique Dealer Closing

I was cruising craigslist and saw this.

    http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/boa/2206464091.html

It looks the the Portland Nautique dealer, NW Ski and Wakesport, is going under. I have never done business with them, but I hate to see dealers going under.

    NW Ski and Wake Sports

It was a sad day when I received the letter confirming that NW Ski and Wake Sports is closing. The Owner, Bruce Berg, is a first class, honest guy and I think the ecomomic climate here in Oregon just did him in. If anyone is looking for boats, Bruce has 3 in stock, a new V-drive Sport 200 in Red, an open bow 200 direct drive in Blue and a red 210 SANTA. These are all 2011 boats and are being blown out at just over cost!!! If the boats are not sold, they will go back to Nautique, so now is the time to get a bargain!!!

I purchased a 2008 210 from Bruce a couple of years ago, and the purchase and subsequent service could not have been better. Bruce has been a Nautique dealer for over 10 years, and has been a member of the Nautiques National Promotion Team for over 18! This man needs support, so I would urge you to contact him concerning the liquidation of his inventory. He also has parts at 40% off, including props, now is the time to act!

I wish Bruce and his family luck in the future. Like I say, this man is anice, honest, hard working guy and it is sad to see him have to close.

Mark MF, I second your comments. I worked with Bruce when he was a promo team member, then as an employee working for WCCC when we ran the dealership in Portland (Superior Nautiques) and then when Bruce became the owner of the dealership (Northwest Ski & Wake Sports).
You will not find a more dedicated / honest person. I wish Bruce & April the best in their future endeavors.

It is with sadness I write this. NW ski and Wakesports is closing, and until the end of March, is selling a lot of the stuff they were using to run the business. Store fixtures, display lighting, a lot of banners, Correct Craft throw rugs, lots of spare parts, decals, tuneup parts.
I believe there is also a Ski Nautique 200 for a very good price.
