if you can keep the graphics either way i'd say leave it black. looks amazing. otherwise i'd probably put them on if it's free because they aren't cheap and most people will probably want them if you ever go to sell.

My service guy told the graphics don't last forever in storage--I think about 5 years before he gets concerned about them. (Bob who used to run West Coast CC...he said he used to keep various graphics in stock, but his experience is they eventually would go bad.)

So, if I were in your position, I'd take a bunch of photos of it so I could remember exactly what it looks like blank (btw, looks great), then I'd put the graphic on and live with that for a year or two. Then I'd decide whether I want to leave it on or take it off. That way you get to see it both ways....and its not like the decal is going to last forever rolled up anyway.

Generally, I like blank/plain, but I'd bet the griffin graphic would look great on your boat.

If you put the graphics on, make sure you keep that hull waxed with some UV protection. If not, and you pull the graphics in a few years, it could take some elbow grease to even out the faded gel. Black is awesome, but a bit more of a challenge to keep shiny - from my experience anyway.

Find some Chrome Nautique letters and put on the rear, leave the rest alone.

Nice boat, I am sure it will be a good boat either way. The graphics or cromax seems to be the way to go to insure future salability.

My 2 cents: I think taking the graphics off a boat or all the emblems off a car or truck ("debadging") is a passing trend. It appeared to have started with stripping emblems and stickers off of hondas to make them look like acuras, and now they are removed from tahoes to look like escalades, etc. There was the monocramatic trend of the 80's and 90s, the "black out" everything movement in the 2000s, lately we are in a white everything out or remove all the stickers for the "clean" look. its all passing through on a time line and if you have been on this forum or the wakelist (showing my age) or wakeworld you could have watched all these trends come and go. I would not purchase a boat that had been adapted to any of these trends. it is known when purchasing a used vehicle when you see visual modifications it usually means it was owned by somebody that likes to tinker and customize and it probably has more surprises "under the hood" that will turn up later.

                    on

Looks pretty good with nothing on, but it would look better with graphic. The blacked out window gives it style and some unique-ness. Slap em on and your great to go.

                      Graphics on.

I had the exact same dilemma when I bought my boat last year. It had a really ugly wrap on it. We took the wrap off and then had an all white boat. I considered leaving it white, or just installing the Super Air text on it but in the end decided to put the Griffon graphics on and black nautique lettering on the side, chromax on the back. Very happy with my decision.

I really like the all black, but I also thought just the simple Super Air Nautique might look pretty sweet too.

                          No graphics.
Both the white and the all black boats shown are gorgeous.

At most I'd put the chromax "Super Air Nautique" on the black boat, but no crest. I'd leave the white one as-is. Too late on both counts I realize, but those boats are dead sexy with nothing or just the "Super Air Nautique" decal set.

i just think that boat jumps out and screams class and "death proof." let people wonder what you're in if they aren't in the know about nautiques. i'd personally like to see a flat black version with matching tower and transom. keep it whiteish inside though. anyways, if you really can't decide then grab a quarter, do best out of 3, and make rules so no interference(seinfeld) causes issues.
