2000 sport v

hi guys new to the forum just after som advice.
im after a new boat and have found a 2000 model sport v drive just wondering what these are like as a boat and what the wake is like.
if thas has already been discussed let me know and ill have a search for it.

that has been a big topic here lately. Haven't heard from any owners, but anybody that has had the pleasure of demo'ing the boat raves on the wakes. The ski wake is supposed to be between the 196 and 200 DD. The wakeboard wake is supposed to be good too.

I think he's talking about a 2000 NSS, not a 2011 Sport Nautique 200.

I have an 01 NSS and the wake for boarding is huge/awesome even without ballast. At higher speeds (30-32 mph) the wake for slalom skiing is acceptable, but not great. If your a serious slalom skier running the course, this is not the boat for you.

The other issue with the wake is it's not great for teaching small kids.

It's a great all around boat with lots of space, we have enjoyed it alot - but the next boat I get will be a DD or a 200 Sport - depending on whether or not I win the lottery ;@)

This is the wake on a friends 06 Super Air V with ballast filled and a few people on the boat. it got bigger and cleaner after we gained a little speed.

This is the stock wake on my new (to me) 1995 Super Sport, which I am told has the same hull as the 1995-06ish Super Air.
