    De-winterized EARLY!!

So, I couldn't wait and went ahead and de-winterized. Tomorrow should be good weather, so I will be taking it out.

I probably should have waited but I just couldn't wait any longer

    Bring on the Spring

    Good for you!
Since you can see all the way to Alberta, Canada, on a clear day, I would drain the water out of it when done. No need to redo a full winterize.

I'm going to try to put mine in the water tomorrow for a test spin. I'm at least going to get her out of hibernation....and bring her to the house for a sponge bath.

In Madison, Mississippi we had snow on the ground/melting off of roofs Saturday week ago and skied yesterday with 78 degree air temps and 67 degree water. Hope it stays this way!

We've had high 70's this past week, one day at 80, got my new WaterSki mag in the mail yesterday..................so I think it's time to change the impeller, doesn't need it, but going to anyway. If the weather holds where it is for another week, I'm chasing buoys. Wifey will be wearing her shorty suit. Come to think of it, I may be also.

              Regards!

Even though there is still 2 feet of snow on the ground and it is -20 celcius this morning, our group has been planning where to relocate the slalom course this spring on the lake over the last week getting ready. Only about 50 days to go until ice free on the lake!! Look forward to some pictures of southerners hitting the water soon.

Haven't dropped it in the water yet, but getting some new rims and tires for the trailer. Since I will be close to the river, I am sure I will get some time on the water tomorrow

                        De-winterized EARLY & Insurance

Maxxwell, sounds like a great opportunity to get the boat out early. Some forecasts are calling for a cool spring so it makes sense to take advantage of the weather while you can.

Since you don't ski during the winter you probably have a discount on your boat insurance for winterizing the boat. If your winter layup isn't over yet you should call the insurance company and let them know you want to take it out early. This is a common request on a warm weekend and we're always happy to endorse this coverage. It should be as simple as calling your boat insurance company, even the day before you want to go out, and requesting the additional coverage.

Hope you had a great weekend!

                        -Jon

Our 200 was only winterized for 3 weeks. Put the plugs back in it Saturday morning and skied Saturday and Sunday. When we skied three weeks ago the water was 56. Yesterday it was 70! WhooHoo!!!
