Who knows what year the first Ski Nautique was produced and by who?

What year was it first produced by Correct Craft?

What line of ski boats did Correct Craft produce prior to the "Nautique" line up?

I know the answer--sort of--but I can't find my "Parting the Waters" book to get the details. I'll look around again tonight. (I think the boss cleaned up my pile of CC stuff.)

before Nautiques was it the Rocket Skier?

Eggie, you have the year correct for Correct Craft actually producing the ski nautique. The guys name is very close but the year is off and to my knowledge, there was never a boat made called the rocket skier.

The first ski boat CC made was the Atom Skier. I think it was '56.

Dang, I guess the history page of CC's website isn't accurate...

There was a whole bunch of ski boats before the SN. But I can't quite figure out which was supposed to be there "official" ski boat, if they made more than one model in a given year. I know there was an Aqua Skier, but that came much later, circa '63. With all CC's talk of heritage, shouldn't this stuff be on their website?
