2005 Ski Nautique 196 Limited / Ski Racks

I think I read a post where it was mentioned that the '05 Ski 196 Limited now came with ski racks as a standard. I know that ski racks are standard on the Team. I have tried searching for this post with no luck, maybe because it does not exist.......

Does anyone know if the '05 196 Limited now comes with ski racks as a standard feature? If so, would an earlier '05 model qualify to have the racks installed.

I am 99% sure that the ski racks come on the limited edition but send a quick email or a quick phone call to one of the dealers to be sure.

From the factory only the Team comes with Ski Racks, however it is an options with any package

I added them as an option on my '05 196 Limited. They were not standard. The boat was built in December.

Sure did, I guess I must like red (now 16 of my last 20 inboards have had at least some red in them). I really like the 6 liter too!

That is one cool boat. Hey, by the way, what is your take on the post I started here regarding the TSC vs. TSCII hull. You've probably been on enough of both to have a considered opinion.

My opinion is that in the range of 15' off down to deep shortline the TSCII is a slight improvement over the TSC. Where I think the TSCII really shines is at lower speeds. Kids skiing 20 - 30 mph have really benefited from the new hull. I watch kids that have never pulled through the wake before make dramatic improvements because the the slow speed wakes are much smaller. The kids are all delighted when I show up with my promo at their tournaments! My stepdaughter went from barely making a pass at 20 mph to getting into 28 mph over the summer of '02 when I got my first TSCII.
