boat sales numbers by manufacturer

Does anyone know where I can find the number of sales that each manufacturer had for certain years?

Example.......In 2010 Nautique 2500 boats, Malibu 2000, Mastercraft 2400........

The National Marine Manufacturer's Association publishes that info. The caveat to that is that it is based on registered boats, not manufactured boats.

For just one thing, it would help promo guys get a boat they can easily sell at the end of the season.

If the sales of a particular boat model sales drop a lot during the second year, it may point out that the boat was not quite up to the hype and promotion that was used when it was introduced. On the other hand, if the sales increase a lot the second year, and following years, the sales are probably driven more and more by word of mouth.

If you are looking for a particular model and year of a used boat, it would help you know if the boat you are looking at is one of ten made, or one of 2000 made.
