    Perfect Pass Question please help!!!!

    Perfect pass worked just fine last year. I get the boat back from dewinterization and now when I turn the boat on, the Perfect pass has about 6 bars that show up on the screen. Any ideas?

      mine did something similar and it was a ground issue, run your ground wire straight to the battery and see if that helps. it worked for me

      only other thing i can think is a faulty display

                  They are an amazing company. THey have been able to work with me for just about any problem I have had. I would (for everybody who reads this and has a perfect pass product) get a few extra of the small stay screws that fit into the knob and the motor spindle (I got mine at ace hardware). I also had a motor seize up on me, and the both sent me a new one (no cost) and walked me through the instructions on how to rebuild the old. So now I have an extra just in case

                      Moisture in the dash will also do that. Drove me crazy. I eventually replaced the head unit. I would think they would be more water tight, but I guess that would be silly in a boat.

                          Ditto but haven't replaced the head unit. I long day in the hot sun dried it out and got everything working.
