I have to agree that the pricing must be putting enormous pressure on the dealers. I spent a lot of time shopping for a boat and frankly, CC was not on my list DESPITE a life long lust for the brand and the ability to pay the freight. I could not justify the brands pricing structure. Used, certainly. New? The price sent me running to other brands.

Having said all of that, I actually pulled the trigger on a 210. But had my wife not fallen in love with the boat (lucky for me), I would have been having this discussion on a discussion board dedicated to another brand. Is Nautique $5,000 better than all the other brands? Yes, I think so. $20,000k better. I'd have to think about that long and hard. In the end, I bought it so I guess I said yes. But I voted with my heart, not my head. No way to rationally justify the bump in price. And I will say without reservation that the quality of the dealer (Silver Spray) played a HUGE role in the purchase.

I have no knowledge about Silver Spray, but the quality of any dealer is shown not prior to or with respect to the sale, but on the service after.

I think Sun Country carried Sanger boats at one time. I remember stopping at the Ontario location to look before I bought the Nautique.

They must have carried them before CCC did because at one time CCC picked up the Sanger line so they had a lower cost boat to bring in additional customers.
