Pulled the trigger today! -- New Boat Insurance

Just had to share the excitement! Have a great weekend. I sure am!!
Dave, congrats on the new purchase! Hopefully you don't have to wait too long to put some hours on it.

As a prudent mariner I'm sure you're already contemplating insurance options on the boat. Since this is a brand new purchase you should make sure that your policy includes Replacement Cost Coverage. That way you don't just protect the boat's value, you can insure that it'll be replaced with a brand new one -- even if the price goes up. If you're still shopping you can obtain a quick boat insurance quote here.

Feel free to contact myself or anyone else on the team if you have additional questions.

    Congrats!!

What kind of price did you get if you dont mind me asking? I was in Silver Spray in the fall and the lady owner (can't remember he name) said the 2011 blue 210 they had in the there showroom was in the 70s I think which blew me out of the water

I could be way off though!

They are expensive. I'll leave it at that. I don't think community college will hurt the kids to bad ;-)

Very cool another Nautique owner in SE MI.

What lake are you on? We have one of the 5 or 6 196's on Cedar Island Lake.

I purchased my boat from Silver Spray in November of 2009. I flew up all the way from Atlanta to look at it and then drove back with my family a few weeks later to pick it up and tow it home. Patti picked me up from the airport, fed me lunch, showed me around the shop and everything. It was just a wonderful experience with some wonderful people. You will not be disappointed. Congrats.

We are so excited. The boat will live primarily on the west side of the state (Klinger Lake) but will be coming "home" for several weeks throughout the summer for use around SE Michigan. I've been on Cedar Island a few times way back when. We will likely hit Union and perhaps try a few others. Open for recommendations!!! I'd love to find a way to keep it on Walled Lake as that is really close to home but not likely.

I will echo all the positive feedback on Silver Spray Sports. They are great people and their sales/service organization is a class act! I ordered my 2005 SN196 from them and will return there if/when I ever replace it.

                    Enjoy your boat this spring!
