    Myrtle Beach, SC

I'm going to be heading down to Myrtle Beach in about a month, are there any schools in the area that I could set up a session to ski with? Is there anyone on the site that needs a third? I'm from CT and my boat doesn't typically hit the water till late May so it'd be great to get behind a boat sooner.

I think your best bet is down on St. Johns Island near Charleston, about 1-1/2 to 2 hours south. I was in Myrtle last fall and couldn't find anything closer.

Don't know if she does single sessions or even is open at that time, but Coble Ski School is in Lillington, NC. Say about a 2 hour drive from MB. Maybe someone from Whitelake will chime in...it's only 1 1/2 hour from MB.

Coble does do single sessions/lessons but it looks like the place is about 3 hours away. Probably a little further than I'd like to travel. Any other places that are within about an hour or so? I'm suprisided there doesn't seem to be much.

Looks like a really cool place to ski!!

hmm. I would have guessed 2 1/2 max, but okay. If you wanted to, though, it's not that far out of the way coming or going. Maybe 20-30 minutes off of 95? Never been there, but it's rated as one of the top ones...only thing is she uses MC...

              Whitelake,

Do they also offer skiing, or is it strictly wakeboarding? If it's skiing too, that would probably workout for me I could get up early ski a couple sets and get back by noon.
