i have a 2009 SANTE and i ordered the fly high v drive sacs. when i pulled the carpet boards up from the boat i noticed that the hard tanks in my SAN have a downward slope on the front of the tanks. am i supposed to use the rectangular v drive sacs from fly high or the wedge sacs?

You could use them but that would not be the route I would go. Go with what holds more water. The wedge sacs are like a cheese block. The tanks that they fit with look exactly the same so that when you put the sacs on top it becomes a rectangle.

so i just finished installing. i took my time and it took me a few hours. if i was to do it again, i think i could do it in 45 minutes. i followed the "fly high instructions" and there is one flaw. you cant put the carpet back over the hard tanks b/c the hose from hard tank to fly high bag is now in the way.
i havent tested yet b/c i wanted the pvc cement to get good and cured before i tested.

so after the test, it looks like you need to have the carpet in there or the sacs can fall b/t the hard tank and the side of the boat. what did yall do about the carpet? cut a hole in it?
also, when the bags are 90% full they start to over flow out the boat. so theres no way to get them good and tightly filled either.

Just cut a hole in the carpet. As far as getting the bags completely full, thats up to you. You won't tell a difference in the wake with what little water you can continue to put in them. But if you want them tight here is what you do. Go the hardware store and buy a pvc valve and intall it in your vent/overflow hose. when you hear the sac overflowing go back there and close off the vent and let it fill a little more. When you get it full simply turn off the pump.
