I would love to see what you did underneath for tying it all together. I made one for my brothers older mastercraft and just copied how CC does theirs. Not anything close to your workmanship, looks great.

I'll get you some pictures of the under side this week; here are some more pictures with a little more work done. Its a little slow at the moment, between giving the glue time to dry, yard work and going to the Masters this week it's been tough to finish this thing up.

She is all together now, so it's glueing the bung holes in, giving her one final sand and then caulking the joints before putting the shin down!

You said you're not a master woodworker but that looks professional quality to me! Normally teak platforms don't do it for me but that is awesome!

I see you have a jawhorse. My wife bought me one a year ago and I love it. I use it for everything.

It is thick, but probably weights equal too, or less, than the original composite platform.

Yes, love the jawhorse, it works great!

                    Final Pictures

Well, she is all finished up! In hind sight, there are a few minor things we would have change, like the sets in putting it together or a few minor cuts, but over all its beautiful. Big shouts out to my father and brother for their help on this one.

Let me know what you guys think!

                        Wow, awesome job!!
I rode yesterday on a friend's Malibu VTX, and I noticed what a pain it was "schooching" off the platform with my wakeboard on (it has a fiberglass platform with a rubber mat). I thought that the teak platform on my boat was easier to deal with in that regard, and I personally prefer the teak look.

                        Have a great season!

Did you need that chain hoist to install it in the first pic

Hahah, yes because I was by myself and hard to handle trying to get it in those slots. It is easy to put on or take off when someone can help you pick it up evenly.

                              Thank everyone!

God bless my father, he poured a lot of time in this thing since I used his shop. I'd like to build another one and make it horizontal groves and then cut the word "NAUTIQUE" out of a piece of steel, heat that steel up and burn that into it.

Ok... So I've really gone bananas with the teak lately and now decided to do the other SANO pad areas.

What do you think about this area? Of course it will have the black lines in the grooves and around the edges.
