    tower lights 220 SANTE

so my 2007 SANTE 220 is defiantly going to need some tower lights this summer. i have searched this thread and come up with nothing that i can see working. due to the huge size tube and the big kink in the horizontal parts i see no real good/ clean way to mounting a light bar. the only thing i can think of would be to mount individual lights.

    i am open to ideas.

    thanks again guys

you can get swivel lights from Star One Wake with or without a bar. that way you can mount them however/wherever you want and then just spin them into place. here is a picture of 2 sets of 3 lights on a light bar

FWIW, Put tower lights on my boat, probably would not do it again unless maybe there is better lighting available that does not use so much power and actually provides illumination that is effective. What I have is mostly useless, draws quite a bit of power and lights the interior more then anything else, a hand held spotlight is far more effective IMO.

At one point I was looking into adding lights. I talked to guys at CCC and they strongly suggested that I don't do it because they simply don't provide the light necessary to drive/ride safely at night (as safe as that is or isn't anyway). They told me if I really wanted to add lights, I should add off-road lights because they are so bright and project well.

I never did it, but it is on my list of possible to-do's.

I am considering making a bow bracket to hold two automotive driving lights that I have at the house. I don't often boat late at night so my plan is to make it removable so I can attach it the two are three times a year that I will be out late. Right now I just use a spotlight.

My halogen lighting is fine for low speed driving, etc. I am planning on adding some LED docknig bow lights sometime this season, but I wouldnt trust any tower lighting for riding at night, just not enough power for a distant illumination safely
