Looking for Your Opinions on Best Trailer

Hey Gang,
Wasn't able to find a previous thread...so decided to start one. I've been around and pulled lot's of different boat trailers, utility trailers, livestock trailers and semi trailers and have a pretty good idea of what makes a good boat trailer (fab & weld quality, tube wall thickness, paint quality, surface texture and corrosion resistance, structural design, axles, suspensions, brakes, bunks, bow stops, winch, electrical, etc.......but just haven't seen a trailer that has put it all together yet.

What do you guys have and what do you like / dislike about it?

I know some don't care for them, but I still like the Ramlin trailers. They are built specifically for Nautiques, and even though I have had occasional small issues with various trailers of theirs over the years, I still like the fit and finish, and the way they tow. They are "over built" imo, which is the way a trailer that hauls expensive merchandise should be.

I'm a fan of the boatmate trailers, check them out at www.boatmatetrailers.com The local CC dealer uses them, and in addition to available bling, they have some solid quaility's on the basic trailers.

I have an 06 ram lin tandem galv. It's a beast construction wise and tows very well. I wasn't ever a huge fan of the turnbuckle but I added a winch and things are gravy. Not to mention they are made in Orlando along with nautiques "n"

The 2011 PN boat is sitting on a 2011 Ram-Lin and it has the turnbuckle AND a winch.

My 08 210 sits on an EZ Loader trailer and I love it. Looks great, super easy to load, side steps for easy cleaning after pulling off the water, fold away tongue to help reduce theft opportunities and it makes it easier to store, and not to mention it looks great

I only had it a year but kind of miss my EZ-Loader from my last boat.

I have a custom built Boatmate. In 2 years I have towed it from Wisconsin to Georgia don't even know its back there.
No problems loading I always float the boat on to the last 2 feet then winch its easier on the bunk carpet. No problems so far and one of the best looking trailers out there. Talk to Owen at Boatmate he will do you right .

I used to be pretty critical of the Ramlin trailers, but Ive come around on them. They evolved from the original Correct Craft designs, so anything else just doesnt look quite right under a Nautique. They are also super heavy and built like tanks. Frames are super solid, and all the running gear (axle, hubs, tires, etc) are way overkill for the loads theyre intended to carry. They also have some really nice features- the bow stops and turnbuckles are some of my favorites.

The only negative I have about the Ramlins is that the wishbone design doesnt necessarily translate to great hull fitment on all boats... most 4-bunk trailers (like the boatmates) will cradle the hull better. Not that the Ramlins are insufficient, but the contact patch isnt as large. Still the only type I would order new, if I were buying one, though.

I might use this thread when selling my boat. I always thought all nautiques got ram Lin but apparently that isn't the case. Is it up to dealers or?

Too bad Dorsey trailers went out of business because he used to make a great trailer, very solid and easy to load/unload, not as blingy as a boatmate or ez-loader but just as reliable. found mine for 400 bucks, thought i needed a tandem but now i think i would prefer my single because it's so easy to maneuver.
