Well, sorta. If the dealer orders a boat for you from the factory, I suspect they can get you any trailer you want (for a price).

If you buy a boat from dealer stock, that may be another story. Dealers do generally order their own trailers. Ramlins are fairly common in the northeast, but there are a lot of Eagles as well. It seems the west coast dealers tend to order more trailers manufactured out west, rather than have Ramlins shipped from FL. Probably more cost effective to do that.

I had Eagle's under my first two Nautiques, and now a Ramlin. Not a huge of the Eagle. I didn't care for the bunk system they used, and the paint seemed a little suspect (too thin a coat maybe). From my experiences, I like Ramlin's and Boatmate's.

Have had a couple Eagles as well with no problems, they are very similar to the Boatmates, well built and solid structurally, the bunks do sit a bit high and on my current trailer there is an area on the front bunks that has worn much quicker then anywhere else, otherwise no complaints other then letting the dealer talk me into the conventional bow stop over the crash pads, that was a mistake.

Have also had a couple Ramlins with no complaints however they are not nearly as significant structurally as an Eagle or Boatmate IMO. Funny to hear an EZLoader praised, they used to build the biggest POS trailers 10-20 yrs ago, what they are building today appear to be much better.

Interesting comments...thanks so far. Funny....not heard a thing about Prestige. Prestige is what I had under my last two Nautiques and now understand they went out of business. My experience with Prestige has been ho-hum. They both seem to load hard and are particularly sensitive to ramp angle. I believe this was due to bunk layout (angle, placement).

My old Mastercraft trailers had the v-shaped bunk layout front to back, a bow v-pad and a roller. They loaded real nice and stayed put on the trailer going down the road. Didn't care for the paint quality....but that was back in the day.
          Peace..

I have a trailer from a local builder here in Arizona. Randall's VIP Trailers

While they don't have the bling that a lot of the other trailer manufacturers have, one really, really nice thing about them is the fact they are made of C-channel and not box tubing. With the C-channel it is impossible for them rust from the inside out like so many other trailers....

Go with a Ram-Lin trailer for your Nautique. Correct Craft sold the jigs to Ram-Lin when they stopped making trailers. Ram-Lin trailers fit the boat the best They are a Correct Craft trailer with a different name. If you look at some of the other trailers you will notice how the back of the trailer comes in in a V down towards the ground to the prop guard. This will narrow the area for the prop to to have clearance from side to side. Thus if the boat goes up on to the fender or if you have a shallow ramp and the trailer can't go deep enough the prop may hit the back of the trailer. that will not happen with a Ram-Lin. Every trailer is a knock off of Ram-Lin in some shape or fashion. I have had Sport-Boat, DHM (West Coast) trailers both in single and tandum and they never fit the boat properly. You wont find a better trailer for the money. Remember that the dealers use cheaper trailers for a reason too save money.
