Also, at least with Whitelake the website isn't always up to date. They frequently get them going in and out so fast there's no chance to post.

Very good info. I'll do that. Got the official word from Progressive yesterday that the boat is totaled.

Google or go to touchlesscovers.com They make covers for just about anything. The boat covers are a little pricey, but the convience of pushing a button to remove the cover and some added security are worth it to me. There are several on the lake and seem to hold up well.

Just because I'm anal about the boat, I'll still keep a dust or lightweight cover on the boat when we're not at the lake, but for weekends, pushing a button to cover the boat is something I look forward to.

You'll love that new touchless. TONS of people on the chain of lakes I ski on in Florida have them. ....all the rich people. haha. They are sweet though.

              Go 210

I am in the love the 211 camp, but it is my first Nautique and I have never been happier! That said, it is perfect for me because we are on a smaller lake and it doesn't get much wind chop. Additionally, we generally are out with 4-6. Occasionally go out with 8 (4 kids) and it is tight, but for a crossover it does what it promises. If you are wakeboarding and not skiing, the 210 no question.

They just posted an ad for a nice clean 211, but it's already showing a pending sale. I've owned four boats since 1985 and all were bought new, so this will be a new experience for me.
Talked to Phil yesterday. Told him I was looking for an 08 210 Team. He said " I'll find you one "

Do yourself a couple favors. 1 stay on top of him and check in frequently. 2 don't bother emailing him. If you want a response, call him. Buxton has answered exactly zero of my emails over the years. 3, and most important, keep looking on your own as well.

Just had to chime in on the 211. My life has been 196's. I liked to slalom. Decided I wanted a crossover so my son and his friends (and me!) could wakeboard so long as I could find one I'd still enjoy running courses behind. 211 was the best crossover made. It's not as good as the 196 for skiing nor the 210 for wakeboarding, but is good enough for both and is better than any other crossover option. Well, until the 200.

Good advice. So far, Phil has answered my e-mails within an hour of sending them. I know those guys are busy, but so far, so good. His initial search didn't turn up anything. He did make me what I feel is a great offer on a new 210, but for now, I'd rather wait for a good 08 210. I'd rather save some money and I haven't really warmed up to the new towers. I'm going by there on Friday to see one 08 he has in stock and see the new boat he quoted me.

Wow! Never thought I'd hear praise from someone used to a 196!

They did go through a rough spot a few years ago when Phil took over. They have most of their staffing issues worked out too. They seem to have found their groove.

I always go through Riley....He is one of the hardest working guys I know and always returns texts, emails, calls no matter if it is Sunday, Friday night or 6 am Saturday morning...He is the reason I have had 3 Buxton Nautiques.

Amazing what having kids will do for/to you :-) Wouldn't trade 'em for all the 196's or 200's in the world. I've had a blast with them wakeboarding and surfing. Sometimes miss the wake, but then that's what friends are for :-)
