In restoring my 2002 Super Air Nautique 210 this winter, I noticed that there is a stainless steel plate that is shaped to the bottom of the hull. It is about 3.5' long and 10" wide. The sides of the plate are bent up to fit perfectly into the bottom contour "V" of the hull. The plate was positioned under the back of the ski locker and extended under the front of the fuel tank. It looks like the front bilge pump may have been glued to the plate at some point in time but I think it may have become detached. Does anyone know what this plate is for or where, exactly, it should be mounted in the boat? Any help would be appreciated.
