    help a new fella out!

I'm shopping for my first Nautique. What's a good starter boat that a guy could get his hands on for wake surfing? When I'm not pulling tubes for the ladies or just riding around drinking beer, I'd like to learn how to do that. I'm sure someone will come along that wants to wakeboard too. My budget is somewhere around 20k. I'm pretty sure I've decided that I want a V-drive, just because I don't like the motor in the center.

Here's one specific question... what's the difference between these two boats?

They are the exact same hull configuration. The super air already has a tower and ballast system, while with the super sport you would have to add those yourself. I bought a super sport and added a tower and ballast, not difficult but time consuming. With the amount of ballast you will use for wakesurfing, you will most likely be upgrading the super air's anyway. I would probably look for the best taken care of boat, with the lowest hours and go from there. If you need help setting up the surf set up you can search for one of my posts or email me.
